An AI credit is the unit Weezzi uses to meter generation work — prompt-to-system runs, schema generation, code emission, content suggestions, and any AI-powered actions inside the Builder. Roughly, 1M credits covers a few weeks of active building for a single project. Credits are pooled into one shared wallet across your account, so any seat can spend them. If you'd rather use your own AI provider, switch to BYOK and credit consumption drops to €0 — you pay your provider directly.
Bring Your Own Key. Plug in your OpenAI, Anthropic, or other supported provider key and Weezzi routes generation through your account instead of ours. You don't burn Weezzi credits on AI — you pay your provider directly at their list rates. The Builder package itself is unchanged; you keep all features, Migration Kits, support tier, and project allowance. BYOK is most useful for teams that already have negotiated rates with a model provider, or for compliance reasons.
You're billed monthly on two separate meters. Builder package (Free / Pro / Business / Studios) is a flat monthly fee covering Builder access, AI credits, and dev environments. Yes — you can upgrade or downgrade your Builder package at any time, and changes take effect at the next billing cycle. Hosting tiers can be changed per app, independently. There are no migration penalties, no data hostage situations, and no rebuild costs: your projects, code, schema, content, and deployments are unaffected. If you outgrow Cloud entirely, you can move the same apps to self-hosted infrastructure or to the Enterprise on-premises edition without rebuilding.
Yes. Self-hosting on Docker or Kubernetes is available on every tier including Free, with no usage caps, no per-seat pricing, and no proprietary runtime. The generated application is standard Java, Python, and JavaScript code that you fully own — you can run it on AWS, GCP, Azure, your own data center, a Hetzner box, or a laptop. The Free tier limits Builder usage (1 project, 500K AI credits/mo) but doesn't restrict what you do with the code afterward. This is the structural difference between Weezzi and most enterprise low-code platforms: there is no scenario where you can't take your code and leave.
